We have a special Savvy Sentiment set to go along with the season! It also has a coordinating die as well.

The coordinating dies for the Big & Bold line take big stamping to a whole new level. And today, I want to share with you how to use the Birthday Cake stamps and dies to create a shaker card. You can watch me create a shaker card on last night's Del & Artie Live, here. In the video, I used the Sympathy Rose stamps and dies, but the process of creating a window and backing it with acetate and popping it all up on foam tape is the same. To create this card, I followed these steps: First, I stamped the Big & Bold Birthday Cake image with black ink. Then, I colored in the cake layers in rainbow order, leaving the rest uncolored. Next, I stamped and die cut the layers out of another panel and colored it in with Neutral Gray and Violet Copic markers. Then, I covered the slice with a mask and airbrushed a rainbow background down the top two thirds of panel. After that, I adhered a sheet of acetate behind the die cut panel with liquid adhesive. I poured some Crater Lake Sequins from Catherine Pooler on to the first cake, then popped up the window panel with foam tape. To finish off the card, I stamped and trimmed down a sentiment and added it to the front. To create the second card: I score a card base with a bone folder and a Scor-Pal to create a diamond scored pattern on the front. Then, I stamped and die-cut the cake slice and colored it with cream colored Copics. I backed the slice with acetate, poured some Vegas Baby sequin mix under it and popped it up over the card base with foam tape. Next, I created a sentiment strip for the front from the Best Life stamp set. To finish off the project, I used the mask from the first project to cover the slice, then airbrushed the card with Copic YG23 and splattered it with Nuvo Gold Mousse and a little water.
